Denise is a licensed Interior Designer. As early as eight years old she found herself drawn to exploring the art of fashion design and trying to interject it to any school project .  This sparked a curiosity that still drives Denise to explore the interplay between textures and colors.

After graduating with honors from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor in Fine Arts, Denise decided to pursue a degree in Fashion Design

from Altos de Chavón School of Design, a Parsons School of Design Affiliate located in the Dominican Republic.  Thereafter she obtained a Degree in Fashion Marketing from Parsons School of Design in New York. She has study in Perugia, Italy.  Prior to starting her own company she worked at Cejon accessories in New York City for 10 years.  There she designed and oversaw the creation of various types of collections for Kenneth Cole, Betsey Johnson and Steve Madden.  Her work at Cejon Accessories also included inception and development of various lines of accessories and swimwear for major department stores such as Bloomingdales, Macy's, Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom.

After giving birth to her daughter Denise decided to start a collection of decorative pillows and Dna Home Accents was born. Dna Home Accents started as a cutting edge pillow line that explores the interplay of art, fashion and spaces.  Fabric is Denise's canvas of expression, except it doesn't belong in a wall.  For her, materials are a medium to explore the wonders of color and textures.  With the pillow collection came customers interested in Interior Design services and with that came the decision to go back to school and obtain a Degree in Interior Design from San Juan School of Interior Design in Puerto Rico.
